Sabbat X12 Ultra Marble Series True Wireless Earphones Review

Disclaimer: Just a few disclaimers before I start the review. I am not an expert nor an enthusiast in this field. The purpose of the review is more of to walk you through with what I have experienced after using this product after almost two (2) weeks.

I am someone who does not like to spend too much on earphones as I am not that good at taking care of it lols but needed an earphones so that I can work out without being distracted by the wires while jumping HAHA.

So, we bought a true wireless for a test.

General specifications

You can browse the site for the other detailed specifications. We also ordered thru this site so I can vouch that it's legit (I had my doubts before ordering because skeptic in nature? haha). I bought it for PhP2,390, by the way. It was on sale that time.

Dream Stone and Star Cloud

Contents

Contents of the box include the earphones and its box (of course? haha). The black box below has the pouch, charging cable and ear hooks. It also comes in with a free silicone case (I don't use it as it does not fit mine for some reason, but it fits very well the charging case of my sister).

Contents upon unboxing, including manual

Back side of the charging case. The 4 dots there light up once you place back the earphones.

Look of the star cloud with its case. It has a red light indicator once you place it back.

Have an idea now of how it looks like? I hope that lets you visualize the package inclusions. For now, let's go on the review.

Pros/Good points:

  • Fast delivery. It was delivered in less than 24 hours. I ordered 6 pm a day before and received it around 1 pm the next day.
  • Connects quickly. After pairing for the first time, it immediately (like really quickly; quicker than JBL which I also have) connects to the phone or device you have once you remove it from the charging case. Just in case you are wondering, my device is a Huawei phone.
  • Fits my ear and does not fall. At least so far for the past two (2) weeks. As mentioned before, one of the main purposes of buying this is for workouts. So one of my main considerations is that it fits and won't fall during workout (even HIIT).
It survived my two (2) weeks workout (almost everyday). My routine includes running on a machine (I move a lot while running 😂, so kudos for it not falling). Then I do the plank exercises of Emi Wong and the "Flat Tummy Challenge" of Chloe Ting. Even did some strength exercises. It did not fall and I can certainly vouch for this.

Well, it did quite fall just once. I was sweating too much that time (as in, a lot) so it kind of slipped (kind of my fault, I think 😅). It did not happen again as I try to kind of dry it once I am sweating too much.
  • Sweat proof. One of the things they mentioned in their site is that this is sweat proof, thus, good for using during workouts. Again, since I've been regularly doing work outs for the past weeks, I can vouch it's very much true.
  • Noise cancellation. The product also mentions that it's noise cancelling and it's a fact. I'm someone who does not like it when I can't hear a lot from background so when I use this, it kind of bothers me that I can't hear them very well if they're calling on me 😂. But on the other hand, its claim is true.
  • Clear and loud sound. What I mean by loud is that I don't have to set its volume in mid way to hear sounds clearly (which is the usual I set if I'm using other earphones, e.g. JBL). I'm currently using the earphones and it's just set to 1/4 of the whole bar and that's already enough/loud. If I go on midway, it will be too loud.
  • Long battery life. After charging it when it came (it was around 2 or 3 lights), I only charged it again after five (5) days of use. And I think it also charged quickly.
I just remembered that I haven't charged it yet again (it's almost a week already! and it's still okay).
This is what it looks like when placed in my ear. Sorry for the excess hair.

Cons:

Just a disclaimer again that this is just based on my experience and my preferences. You can also consider it when buying.

  • No bubble wrap. It mentioned in the site of prime goods/Gadget Hunter that it will have bubble wrap. Just kind of worried cause what if the product becomes damaged because after its plastic wrap comes already the box. Fortunately, both of mine and my sister's product was not damaged. Just moving forward, I hope they can consider this.
  • Gcash cannot be used as payment option. This is my experience last August 30, I don't know if it's just a system problem that time but I wasn't able to use Gcash as my payment option. I just resorted to COD after.
  • Ears hurt. After long use, my ears kind of hurt after using it for some time. Maybe partially because I am afraid it will fall so I try to push it as much as possible in my ears 😂
  • Distorted sounds. This just happens sometimes and not too long. It sounds like the one of the buds is not connecting properly with the other one. Most likely happens when the Bluetooth of my phone is newly opened and/or if I'm too far from the device.

Would you recommend it?

Overall, would I recommend it?

YES. I think an absolute yes. I cannot splurge on galaxy buds or airpods 😂. And my budget was really just PhP2,000 or below.

I was able to use it for what I intended. I really enjoy using it and it's a lot of fun to listen while working out. Without the need to worry about wires or the likes, even during an exercise where you need to lie down the mat.

Just in case you stumble upon my post while deciding whether to buy or not. I hope that this helps!

PS I am not a fan of watching video reviews (for some reason) and like more reading reviews. I did not find much written reviews before, so here I am.
